Fire Damage Cleanup and Restoration
It’s hard to imagine anything more traumatizing than a fire in your home or business, threatening your family’s and employee’s sense of security. We have seen this debilitating experience so many times, and coming alongside you to help relieve as much stress as possible is our passion.
A fire can swiftly bring a family’s life and a company’s operations to a sudden halt, affecting everyone at their core. According to the latest numbers from the National Fire Protection Association, a structure fire is reported every 65 seconds. When the alarm sounds, emergency responders and fire departments answer the call for help with quick and decisive action. When the smoke clears, Pro 1 Restore service teams are standing by ready to help with the same rapid response – 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.
This is when the cleanup begins, below are a few examples of what happens during cleanup:
We start by examining the exterior structure of the building or home. The fire department may have used colored tape to mark off damage, so we are especially cautious in these areas. We look along the foundation for cracks, and we keep an eye out for potential damage to your gas line.
Step 1: PRO 1 Emergency Contact
The restoration process begins when you call Pro 1 Restore, which is staffed 24 hours a day. Our representative will ask a series of questions regarding the fire damage event that will help us dispatch the nearest Pro 1 Professional with the appropriate equipment and resources.
Step 2: PRO 1 Immediate Board-Up and Roof-Tarp Service
Fire damage can often compromise windows, walls, and roofs. To maintain security and to protect against further damage, our Pro 1 Team can board up missing windows and walls and place tarps on damaged roofs.
Step 3: PRO 1 Water Removal and Drying (if water damage is present)
We begin the water removal process almost immediately and we remove the majority of the water. We then use dehumidifiers and air movers to remove the remaining water and complete the drying process.
Step 4: PRO 1 Removal of Smoke and Soot from All Surfaces
We use specialized equipment and techniques to remove smoke and soot from ceilings, walls, and other surfaces.
Step 5: PRO 1 Cleaning and Sanitizing
We will clean all of the structures that were damaged by the fire. We use a variety of cleaning techniques to restore your home or business to pre-fire condition. We are also trained to remove odors using industrial air scrubbers and fogging equipment.
